CATTLE SCHEDULE – Feature Breed: LIMOUSIN
Junior Judging, Junior Paraders, and Registered Led Sections
Entry Fee: FREE
Cattle Show Day: Sunday 26th January 2025. Cattle are to be on the grounds by 8.30 am Sunday, or, by prior arrangement. Judging commences at 10 am.
Entries close: Friday 17th January 2025. Email: [email protected] or phone: 0428 461 180. Entry forms / documentation is available on the Show website www.eurobodallashow.org.au or by prior arrangement to accompany the Cattle Exhibit entry.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
- Exhibitors / competitors are all subject to full admission charges unless they are members of the Eurobodalla District Show Society. Membership enquiries can be made at the Show Secretary’s Office.
- All relevant documentation (see links below) MUST be submitted to Cattle Steward with the entry form. Moruya Showground PIC No NI233433. All show cattle MUST have NLIS tags. As per AgShow NSW regulations, all registered cattle are to be tested negative for Pesti Virus, and a certificate is to accompany the entry form.
- All ages (bovine and human) are to be calculated as of 1st January 2025.
- Exhibits are ineligible for exhibition if infected with warts / ringworm.
- All registered cattle are led classes and are to be owned by Exhibitor and registered with the Australian Limousin Breeders Society.
- All exhibits are to be secured with suitable neck collars and halters. All Bulls over 12 months of age MUST have a nose ring. Bulls >6 months and <12 months and all females > 6 months of age to be led with a nose clip.
- All exhibitors must bring hoses and electrical appliances. All electrical appliances (extension cords/blowers) MUST be tag tested, as required by law.
- Some straw bedding will be provided.
- Age groups and classes / heats will be determined by entry numbers on the day.
- Class ribbons to 5th place for Junior Judging and Paraders Sections. Cattle classes: <5 exhibits = 3 ribbons; 6 – 10 exhibits = 4 ribbons.
- Prize Money: TBC.

All Paraders will need to complete an AgShows NSW Multi-Purpose Individual Waiver/Bulk Waiver form (link below), which must be signed by a parent/guardian and submitted with their entry form. Competition is to be judged on appearance, handling and preparation. Cattle to be led must be 6 months and under 21 months. No Parader under 18 years of age will be permitted to lead ANY bull.

Feature Breed: LIMOUSIN
Description: The Limousin, French: Limousine, is a French breed of beef cattle from the Limousin and Marche regions of France. It was formerly used mainly as a draught animal, but in modern times is reared for beef. A herd book was established in France in 1886.
