Eurobodalla District Show
The Eurobodalla District Show is an annual community orientated event hosting the traditional Country Agricultural Show incorporating a modern theme, the only one within our Shire.
Eurobodalla District Show Society
The Show Society works continually all year to make great shows, for the people of the Eurobodalla Shire and beyond. Welcoming all. Local People make Local Shows.
The Society was established in 1872 as the Moruya Agricultural & Pastoral Society and the first show was held in 1874. It has been held most years except for 1908 (Too Dry), 1917 (WW1), 1943 (WW2), 1944 (WW2) and 1999 (Too Wet). In 1981 the name of the Society was changed to the Eurobodalla District Show Society. In 2017 the Show Society decided to name the shows the ‘Eurobodalla Agricultural Show’ and have Ezy Print design a logo that will be used for the shows. The name change is to reflect where the shows first started, getting back to our traditional shows and our roots.
During all this time the local community, organizations, business and companies have helped with the running of the Shows through sponsorship.
